Coalition Homes, Inc., an affiliate of the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless, is a nonprofit housing development organization creating permanent housing for formerly homeless individuals and families.  The goal of Coalition Homes is to help eradicate homelessness in Montgomery County by owning and operating housing for homeless households.  Coalition Homes currently owns and manages 56 properties which provide permanent homes for formerly homeless individuals.  Additionally, Coalition Homes developed 32 apartments in downtown Bethesda as the site for the Cordell Place program.

Services include:

  • Subsidized housing
  • Property management services
  • Rehabilitation of distressed property
  • Variety of contracted social services

Coalition Homes, Inc. was incorporated in 2005 as the first 10 scattered site apartments were acquired.  The development of Coalition Homes was the direct result of the priority within the homeless delivery system for {delete} permanent supportive housing integrated throughout the community for formerly homeless households.
